Mosaic Mediterranean Grill-
All you can eat Mediterranean joint? Interesting. Well, I decided to check it out anyway, and was greatly rewarded! So I have no idea what I actually picked up at the buffet line, but it was quite delicious. In the foreground, is a green bean and potato dish that was something like an indian curry, a bit savory and a bit sweet. The chicken dish clockwise to the bean dish was also indian-like, but it was more like a spicy masala. Fantastic dish, my favorite dish. Continuing clockwise, another chicken dish that was somewhat sweet and I’m pretty sure had coconut milk in it, something like a Thai curry. Tasty, but a bit too much on the sweet side. The last entrée was tilapia that was forgettable. Also picked up a salad for a bit of greenery. But the baba ganoush took the spotlight of the meal. Creamy, spicy, refreshing, and great texture and mouthfeel. Mmmmm mmmmm! The meal was finished off with a complementary sweetened cornbread confection that had a rather pronounced lavender flavor. At first, I wasn’t sure what to make of it, but was sold after the second bite; an intensely sweet and floral to finish the meal provided a nice bookend.
